MEET OUR PROVIDERS

Aimee Kilgo
DNP, CRNP, FNP-BC, CRHCP
  • Aimee graduated from UAH in 1995 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She was a registered nurse for ten years in a post-surgical, ICU, and medical unit. She was part of the founding group of nurses who helped open the first cardiac cath lab at Dekalb Regional in Fort Payne, AL.

  • Aimee graduated from UAH with a Master of Science in Nursing in 2013. She spent five years working as a Family Nurse Practitioner in cardiology, urgent care, and hospital medicine.

  • Aimee graduated from the University of Alabama in 2023 with a Doctorate in Nursing Practice. 

  • Aimee is married to Alan Kilgo, a small business owner in Fort Payne, AL. 

  • Aimee is an active member of the 1st Methodist Church in Fort Payne, AL.

Kathy DeCant 
MSN, CRNP, FNP-C, CDCES
  • Kathy graduated from Gadsden State Community College in 1991 with an Associate Degree in Registered Nursing and worked 16 years caring for families in obstetrical
    nursing.

  • Kathy graduated from Samford University with a Master of Science in Nursing in 2015.

  • Kathy has worked as a Family Nurse Practitioner in Primary and Urgent Care for seven years.

  • Kathy is married to Dan’l DeCant, a Registered Nurse in obstetrical nursing. They are blessed to have three children and five grandchildren.

  • Kathy is an active member of Welcome Baptist Church in Ball Play near Hokes Bluff, AL.

HEATHER COMBS
MSN, CRNP, FNP-C
  • Heather graduated from Northeast Alabama Community College in 2011 with an Associate Degree in Nursing.  She worked as an RN in orthopedics, neurology, and emergency medicine for seven years.

  • Heather graduated from Jacksonville State University with a Bachelor of Nursing in 2015.

  • Heather graduated from the University of Alabama in Birmingham in 2018 with a Master of Science in Nursing. As a Family Nurse Practitioner, she has experience in Primary Care, Dermatology, and Wound Care.  She has also served as an adjunct instructor in nursing at Gadsden State Community College.

  • Heather is married to Scotty Combs, and together they have three children.  She enjoys reading, outside activities, and spending time with her family in her free time.  Heather attends Happy Home Baptist Church in Henagar, Alabama.
